How to Order:

  • Join our mailing list! We use this to communicate with you to let you know when we will be making a trip into the Twin Cities. 
  • When we send out the email, it will include the date of our upcoming trip and will have a copy of the latest inventory list attached. The inventory list is a snapshot of our inventory as of the date at the top of the form.
  • The inventory list includes:
    • Cut ID # and name of the cut
    • The price per pound
    • The number available (in bold)
    • The range of package weights that are available (smallest - largest)
      • Be aware that there may be one very small one and many larger ones, so it's best to specify what weight in pounds you are interested in.  
  • Place an order by responding to the email. Include the cut # and/or description, the number of packages you want and the approximate size you prefer.
    • ie "Sirloin Tip Roasts, 2, larger size"  
  • Respond to the email with your order as soon as you can. We fill orders as they come in so it's first come first served.
  • If we can't fill an order we will email you back with a substitution suggestion.
  • We will ask you to send your order in by a deadline Please place your order by that time if possible. (if after this, call us and we will try to accommodate). 

Scheduling your delivery:

  • When you respond with your order please include the following: 
    • Your delivery address.
    • A phone number where you can be reached on Saturday and Sunday.
    • If you know there are times you won't be home, include that information too so we can schedule your delivery around it.
    • If you can't be home, leave a cooler or other place out of the sun and where we can find it, with a check for the amount on the invoice. Make a note of this in your order.
  • What you need to know:
    • Orders and deliveries are filled and schedules on a first come first served basis.
    • We will schedule the trip around your availability if possible.
    • Start and end times will vary depending on the quantity of orders, but deliveries will start in the early morning.
    • Look for an invoice in your email inbox the evening before delivery or very early the morning of delivery. Take a look to make sure we have your order correct. If you notice any mistakes, please let us know as soon as possible. 
    • Delivery of orders over $100 is included, otherwise we need to charge a delivery fee of $5.

Word of mouth works best for food sourcing, so please mention/forward delivery alerts to your neighbors! (Though please don't spam your whole email list!)  Multiple deliveries in a neighborhood save time and fuel and helps us build a community around local, sustainable food.
